Today is my daughter Ally’s birthday so sad to miss it but we will celebrate when i return. Saw some guys supping again today, was perfect conditions i swam out to the one dude and asked where to hire and hey presto he rented one to me for an hour. I saw lots of marine life including rays, at first i thought they were rocks, then the rocks moved!
Soaked up some sun, was going for a walk to do a bit of shopping in town and heavens opened and down came the blessing rain, i jumped in a sunshine yellow kayak and played around while the rain kissed my skin.
Dalia joined me for a nice long swim in the sea. I was looking out for the Bull Sharks as we got deeper all the shadows start playing tricks on you.
We got out the water further down the beach and proceeded to exfoliate our bodies with the fine sand, we then left the clay like mud on our skin to soak up the minerals, we resembled Bushmen he hee. Swam back in the pouring rain and sun started to shine as we got out the sea. I dried off and went to buy some gifts in town…got caught in a thundertorm walking back…embracing the elements…one with nature of Holbox Island..
En route back to Playa now, just disembarked from ferry….sad to say goodbye to the beautiful island of Holbox.
