Wed Full Moon no Astanga practice, Pranayama and being still…being still has always been a great challenge for me but the more one practices the better at it one gets. It was a beautiful way to start the day before sunrise on Full Moon Day…
Sharat and wise words from a documentary about him not thinking of himself as a Guru and saying that To some he is Guru and to some he is not….He says if you think I am Guru to you then I am Guru to you if you think I am not Guru then I am not Guru… to me I am not Guru I am always Student forever student….A great inspiration. I got quite tearful watching as I saw just how big his daughter has got, when I was in Mysore I have memories of her tiny toddlers hand adjusting me with her Grandmother Saraswarthi (Sharat’s mother) in Paschimottanasana. My heart wants to return to Mysore.
My pupils and yogi bear family at our Astanga Led Practice on Saturday warmed my heart, you guys are such an inspiration to me and your, amazing dedication to this practice is mind blowing. It just lets me swim in the knowing that I am exactly where I am meant to be right now, sharing and always growing as a student. To witness your joy through practice is a warm sun to my face.
The Sorrow and disappointments I have felt in this lifetime, pale in comparison to the gratitude I feel for Life right now….
