Bags are packed as i leave for South Africa tomorrow and its with mixed emotions, sad to leave my friends and this beautiful part of the world and yet happy to be returning home to see my family and my yogi family.
Ellen my vinyasa teacher, after last class with her at Yogaloft.
Practiced in Ellens class for the last time, Claudia was next to me and Ellen made us laugh with her beautiful sense of humour. I did Claudia’s class 10mins after Ellen’s and Dalia came to join was so good to practice with her in the room. Both great Vinyasa classes both different, thats what’s so good as your body gets to move in different ways.
After class Dalia and i had a girlie day shopping and later i had the best vegetarian sushi i have ever had, then it was home and sleep.
Mayan Art Gallery….
Had to have a peak at a Tequila shop, when in Mexico….
Next morning Tuesday, my last day here i practiced a Power Vinyasa Flow with Michael, very good, what a great challenge. He then made an announcement to the class that i was leaving to go back to South Africa and i got all teared up….class finished by 9 30am and i quickly got ready to leave as taxi collected me at 10am to go to Cancun Airport. Said our very sad goodbyes and off i went, leaving Playa and all my Playa yogi friends behind.
Then it was Cancun to Atlanta to Jhb to Durban South Africa, where i was welcomed by my girls. Now Wednesday night….long trip home.
So good to see them its been a loooooong time away.
Namaste
