Yesterday on the beach Dulce very kindly invited me to drive with her and her husband to Chichen-itza, where the Mayan Pyramids are, the ruins and is actually one of the new7 wounders of the world. Its one of the fabulous historical places i planned to visit before i go back, so blessed my friend invited me now i dont have to go alone. So excited, we are en route now.
Just finished our tour and on our way back its around a 2,5 hour drive, so tired but feeling enriched by my experience. We hired a tour guide and i am so glad we did as he was so good at sharing his knowledge of the Mayan Culture. We arrived around 12 30pm and we walked around listening to his stories and taking lots of pics till 4pm. By which stage we were understandably tired, hot and hungry.
So interesting and amazingly clever scientific people, some things just cant be explained and have to be accepted and trusted as how did they do all that they did, how did they mathematically work all those dimensions out? Facinating for people of their time, magical.
Amazing energy, as i stood in front of the first big pyramid i got goose bumps.
Look forward to finding out if we are going away to the island tomorrow? Either way i will be happy if we go or if i stay in Playa..i am so fortunate to be here.
